Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.
Today's question is:
"Typically, we like to do the cabinetry before. That way your flooring, if for any reason needed to be replaced, can easily be replaced. That way it doesn't run under the cabinetry and we have to mess with the cabinets in order to get the floors out. This is a pretty standard practice, but in certain scenarios, we might install the cabinets on top of the floors if, let's say, the customer was keeping their existing floors."
When questioned whether cabinets are installed before or after flooring and countertops. Kolten Redfield stated that cabinets are typically installed before flooring to allow for easier replacement of the flooring if needed without interfering with the cabinetry. They noted an exception where cabinets might be installed on top of existing floors if the customer is keeping them.
