Man, the most stressful part, I would say, can be a combination of time and money. It's not a quick process, your house is typically not in working order, and the insurance usually doesn't want to pay in full. So you put all those things into one factor: you don't have your own home, things are getting dragged out a long time, and you're worried you're going to have to come out of pocket a bunch of money to get your home back in order. These are the things I see stressing people out most. I can typically help with two of them, the money and getting your home back in order. Time is just one of the factors with insurance that you have to be patient with. That's the one thing we ask when we take over an insurance claim: I can't one-hundred-percent guarantee you money, but I'm ninety percent confident we can get you what we estimate, and we can do the job one hundred percent for sure. The time, though, it sometimes takes up to six months to deal with these insurance companies, and patience is key. It's not the best answer you want to hear, honestly, but it's the truth. I can almost guarantee we'll get you money, and I can guarantee we'll make the property look one hundred percent right. It just takes time.
