Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.
Today's question is:
"This is a very, very particular process, actually. So, after the cabinets get installed, the lower cabinets, what we do is we like to remove all the faces in the drawers. That way nothing gets damaged during the stone install. After this, we have our countertop fabricators come in and we actually laser measure your entire kitchen, taking those measurements, putting them onto the computer.
Then we plug them into the machine, and we actually have a machine that fabricates all of the stone and cuts it with a laser. That ensures that everything is exact down to a T. Once we have it cut, we bring it on site and we install."
When asked about the process for measuring and templating new stone countertops. Kolten Redfield detailed a meticulous process where lower cabinet faces and drawers are removed to prevent damage, then countertop fabricators laser-measure the kitchen, and a machine precisely cuts the stone before on-site installation.
