Hey folks! This is Kolten from Next Gen Remodels.

Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.

Today's question is:

"What's a realistic budget for a remodel? How much to set aside for the unexpected?"

Answer

Realistic budget really depends on exactly what you're doing, right? So, for instance, let's say you're remodeling a bathroom. A hallway bathroom is gonna start anywhere around $18,000 to $25,000 for a full renovation. That's including new floors, new trim, new shower, vanity, toilet, light, paint, the whole shebang. That's everything. It's gonna start around 18 at lower-end materials, work its way up towards around 25 for higher-end stuff. As far as master bathrooms go, that's gonna be your, closer to your $38,000 to $45,000 range. Everything else will kind of trickle in between those based on the size and the scope of work.

Summary

A full renovation for a hallway bathroom starts at $18,000 to $25,000, with costs varying based on material quality. A master bathroom is closer to the $38,000 to $45,000 range, with other projects falling in between based on size and scope.
