Hey folks! This is Kolten from Next Gen Remodels.

Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.

Today's question is:

"Will My Current Panel Handle New Appliances?"

"Will My Current Panel Handle New Appliances?"

Answer from Kolten

"That is an excellent question. That is something that we bring out a licensed professional for that does specific electrical work. We can inspect the panel and see what year it was made and what the qualifications are for it, if it will support it, but I always have a licensed electrician come out on site and verify that what the change doing in the house will be supported by the panel."

Short Summary

When asked if an existing electrical panel could handle new lighting, outlets, or appliances. Kolten Redfield explained that while their team can inspect the panel, they always bring in a licensed professional electrician to verify that the panel can support any planned changes to the house's electrical system.
